When setting up the Exchange or IMAP account, if you previously had the email signed in as POP please do not delete the email. Doing so may cause you to lose emails that have been downloaded to your device, instead login as if you are setting up a new account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are unsure of which version of Outlook you are using, you can check by going to:<br>File &gt; Office Account &gt; About Outlook &gt; your version of Outlook should be listed at the top and look something like the image below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.iinet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-9.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.iinet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/image-9.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2527\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Jump to:<br>\u2013&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.iinet.com\/?page_id=2473#Microsoft_Exchange\">Microsoft Exchange (easier)<\/a><br>\u2013&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/support.iinet.com\/?page_id=2473#IMAP\">IMAP<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Microsoft_Exchange\">Setting up as a Microsoft Exchange Account<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>From the start menu open the Outlook app. Then, select \u2018File\u2019 on the top left corner of the screen.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.iinet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/image-37-768x313.png\" alt=\"image-37-768x313.png (768\u00d7313)\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select Info > Add Account<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.iinet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image.png\" alt=\"image.png (1257\u00d7510)\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"3\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A pop up will appear:<br>1. Insert your email address<br>2. Click on \u2018Advanced options\u2019 and check the box for \u2018Let me set up my account manually\u2019<br>3. Select \u2018Connect\u2019<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/support.iinet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-20.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/support.iinet.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/image-20.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2263\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"4\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Select \u201cExchange\u201d. If you are using an older version of Outlook this will not work.
