It is possible to access shared calendars and mailbox folders using Outlook Web Access (OWA). To do so, follow the steps below.

Note: You will need to use Internet Explorer 6 or higher to fully utilize some OWA features, like accessing shared calendars and mailbox folders. Using any other browser (Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc.) will force login to OWA Lite which only has a basic set of features.

Accessing Shared Inbox –

1. Log into OWA with your own account email address and password.

2. Click the down arrow drop down menu next to your name in the upper right corner.

3. In the “Select Mailbox” field, type in the email or name of the shared Inbox you are trying to access.

4. This should give you a list of matching mailbox names within your company.

5.Choose the mailbox you are trying to access and click OK.

6. THE MAILBOX SHOULD NOW SHOW ON THE LEFT COLUMN

Accessing Shared Mailbox Folders –

1. You can gain access to a shared mailbox folder using OWA by going to the following URL in a browser:

https://mymail.myoutlookonline.com

– The email address should be the email address of the mailbox that contains the shared folder.
– The folder name should be the name of shared folder you are accessing.

For example, to access the shared “stuff” folder in the support@easystreet.commailbox you would use the URL:

https://mymail.myoutlookonline.com

2. When the login screen comes up, put in YOUR email address and password. As long as the permissions have been setup properly, you should now be logged into the shared mailbox folder.

Accessing Shared Calendar –

1. You can gain access to a shared calendar using OWA by going to the following URL in a browser:

https://mymail.myoutlookonline.com

– The email address should be the email address of the mailbox that contains the shared calendar.

2. When the login screen comes up, put in YOUR email address and password. As long as the permissions have been setup properly, you should now be logged into the shared calendar.
