POP Setup
Configuring Outlook 2002/2003 for POP3 service (recommended)
1. Click the Tools menu.
2. Choose Email Accounts.
3. Click Add a new e-mail account and click Next.
4. In the Server Type listing, choose POP3 and click Next.
5. Type Your Name and the Email Address assigned to your account.
6. For your User Name, enter your full email address ( username@domain.com), and enter your Password (same as used to login to the web application).
7. Type pop.easystreetemail.com for the Incoming mail server andsmtp.easystreetemail.com for the Outgoing mail server.
8. Click the More Settings button.
9. Click the Outgoing Server tab.
10. Check the box for My server requires authentication.
11. Click the Advanced tab.
12. Verify that the incoming port is 110 and the outgoing port is either 25 or 5125 (if you have trouble sending email, please use 5125).
13. Check the box for Leave a copy of message on the server if you want to access your email from the web application as well.
14. Click the OK button, then the Next button and then Finish.
Configuring Outlook 2002/2003 w/SSL for POP3 service
1. Click Tools –> Email Accounts, The Accounts window appears.
2. Check the Add New Email Account button.
3. Click Next.
4. The Server Accounts window appears select POP3.
5. Click Next.
6. The Internet Email Settings window appears.
7. In the User Information fields add you’re Your Name. Enter the name you want others to see in the From: field when you send E-mail.
8. Enter your e-mail address.
9. In the Login Information field Enter your complete E-mail address or User Name.
10. Enter your e-mail account password.
11. Note: You can set Outlook to remember your password if you don’t want to type it in every time you check for new messages.
12. In the Server Information field Input the POP3 server pop.bluetie.com into the Incoming mail server field.
13. Input the SMTP server smtp.bluetie.com into the Outgoing mail server field.
14. Click on More Settings.
15. Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
16. Check the box beside My server requires authentication.
17. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
18. Click on the Advanced tab.
19. Verify that the incoming port is 995 and the outgoing port is either 25 or 5125 (if you have trouble sending email, please use 5125).
20. Check the box, “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)” for both the Incoming (POP) and Outgoing (SMTP) mail servers.
21. Click OK.
22. Click Next.
23. Click Finish, the Internet Connection Wizard will close.
IMAP Setup
Configuring Outlook 2002/2003 for IMAP service
2. Choose Email Accounts.
3. Click Add a new e-mail account and click Next.
4. In the Server Type listing, choose IMAP and click Next.
5. Type Your Name and the Email Address assigned to your account.
6. For your User Name, enter your full email address ( username@domain.com), and enter your Password (same as used to login to the web application).
7. Type imap.easystreetemail.com for the Incoming mail server andsmtp.easystreetemail.com for the Outgoing mail server.
8. Click the More Settings button.
9. Click the Outgoing Server tab.
10. Check the box for My server requires authentication.
11. Click the OK button, then the Next button and then Finish.
Configuring Outlook 2002/2003 w/SSL for IMAP service
1. Click Tools –> Email Accounts, The Accounts window appears.
2. Check the Add new Email Account button.
3. Click Next.
4. The Server Accounts window appears select IMAP.
5. Click Next.
